Skipping dinners

So I realized that I have to change things so today, on Day 2..., I told my BF that instead of dinner I will stay at my place, relax and maybe go for a run. He doesn't really get it. I know I could go to the dinner and be sober. But I just hate it coming home with drunk snoaring BF. Drunk people are really annoying. BF has holiday and I suspect he will be drinking every night. Am very happy that I have my own place to escape to. I have to think about me.

Yes, they are annoying. And the snoring is ridiculous. I live with my drunk. I wish I could build a cozy cottage in the woods out back that smells like herbs, flowers and serenity with a bed in it and a little wood stove. And a bathtub.

My hubby used to snore soooo badly when drunk.
Hubby hasn't drunk alcohol in 2 years and even had an operation to help with the snoring.
You guessed it, he stills snores and since I am getting 'more sober' it irritates me more and more!
BUT I don't miss the smell of ale on his breath one bit!
No way would I have made 1+ year if he drank regularly.

Well done on choosing to put yourself and YOUR recovery first.
Please be wary that your BF doesn't start to interfere with your sober time.

Congrats on your decisions

In sobriety easy drinkers don't bother me but, drunks do.
