Buried my Dad this morning.

He is finally at peace, laid to rest alongside my Mum who passed 22 years ago.

I guess thats why i'm on day 5 rather than having a few months behind me, but today? Thanks to you all, I'm drinking hot chocolate. As a tribute to him and as a thank you to SR and you all for being there xxx

I dedicate my future sobriety to my newly reconciled parents, with all my broken heart xx

Do what you need to do to stay sober, and hot chocolate is a fine substitute.

Thank you xx I'm comforted that he never knew about my drink problem as we lived a distance apart. His sister died of alcohol related suicide way back, so I always avoided alcohol until around ten years ago.
I'm SO thankful, he never knew xx
