Today my favorite thing about being sober is...
That my kids can count on me to be up in the mornings, making their breakfasts, packing their lunches, and starting their day off right...not struggling to get myself out of bed, cranky as I rush around trying to get everything done while feeling sick. I don't know how I did that for so long...hangover free mornings are a definite favorite for me!
Barber just took most of my hair off shortest ive ever had it
truly exhilarating
my favorite thing is no matter what is on my plate or what life is throwing at me im getting on with it
sorting out all my health issues
Funeral coming up and a rememberance
and my dog
im taking it all on bit by bit and im ok

Having a family on the mend. My wife quit shortly after I and we are our best support. We mused nervously this morning of some of the stuff we both did drunk we would never do sober. It's good to keep the memory somewhat fresh. We are committed to making this a better home for our 3 daughters.
I am thankful that I was sober tonight. I will wake up with my clothes ironed, shoes set out, car keys on the hook by the door, and coffee ready to go.
None of these would have happened if I were still drinking!
