That is a lot to deal with. I also have an ex spouse and 6 weeks ago finally ended a financial commitment that has hung around my neck like an albatross for almost 20 years. She was there in the really bad days but in the end I found that there really was no spouse, no stress, no shiity situation that could MAKE me drink/use. There is no person or situation that holds that kind of power over me. If I use it is because I CHOSE TO and with all the alternatives there are to any situation choosing to use is just one of them and for those who are here as well as those that should be it is the wrong choice.
