Words for my AV

I was in the gym this morning and heard a song by a rapper named Fort Minor. I thought I'd share the chorus of the song...it is the perfect thing to say to my AV.

"You can say what you have to say
'cause my mind's made up anyway
I'm taking the high road going above you
this is the last time that I'm gonna trust you
You can say what you have to say
'cause my mind's made up anyway
all that bulls**t you talk might work a lot
but it's not gonna work today"

I love it!

I'm less musically inclined, so I keep my end of the conversation to "no". Unless I am annoyed, then I say "eff off!"

Great lyrics, dcrr. I will have to google the song; my "dial' is usually tuned to country music so I haven't heard it. I love country music but, man, there are so many songs about drinking.

I usually have the top 40 dance stations on when I work out but I do enjoy country music too. It's usually so upbeat and positive and leaves me in a good mood!

Bingo. I never knew rap music could be so inspiring.

No doubt about that. Country music has a lot of booze in it, and unfortunately I love listening to it. One of my biggest challenges I had in my first few weeks is that I went to the Eric Church concert at MSG. I would not recommend that for early sobriety. I did hold strong, and was disgusted by all the drunks by the end of the night.
