A bunch of incredibly smart people working in incredibly smart fields and entrepreneurs posting in this thread. I have a theory that the smartest people in this world are the ones who are drawn hardest to substance abuse. Some of the greatest people in the history of this world have supported this theory.
I wish we had some scientific studies to prove and even try to explain why people who are smarter than the majority of society are so drawn to addiction, but we really don't.
Perhaps 20-30 years from now we will understand the human brain better.
