Sunday Morning
Hi all I hope everyone is well this morning. Time for my Sunday morning check in. I don't post much during the week because I am finding it helps if I hang around work a little later and stop somewhere for dinner on my way home or have dinner with someone. After work between 5-6 is my trigger. Oddly in my mind it is too late to start drinking after 6.
This is the 3rd Sunday in a row I have woken up sober, and I LOVE IT! Sunday used to be a day I dreaded because it was reality time. Reality that I had drank my weekend away and there was no way I was not going to drink Sunday night because of the sleep thing, I have work on Monday and I can't be going through withdrawal.... silly thoughts. Pure rubbish!
I mean here it is 10 am, I've had some coffee and breakfast, and I am bored! But in a good way. I have already done 2 loads of laundry and given the doggie a bath. It is a beautiful day here today and I have energy. Bored? Why yes I am but I CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! <--- this is why I love being sober, I have OPTIONS!
Glorious options. The thing that alcohol took from me most is having options. When drinking I have but 2. Drink or be hungover. Everything else was closed to me.
I wish everyone the best for this day and hope for you strength and patience.

That's funny that you consider 6 to be too late to start drinking...if I made it that long I always considered it a victory. 
I hope you can think of some fun stuff to do! Can you go see a movie? That would be fun!

That's a little freaky Bunnez, I just sent a text to my buddy Mark asking if he wants to get together for a ride this afternoon and came back to find your question lol. I ride a recumbent trike, think lawn chair with wheels and pedals.
If he can't make it I will go alone, a good ride always makes me feel positive.

Yes it's wonderful the have choices, isn't it ?
There's a lot of people ride recumbent bikes here in the UK, they are very popular.
