Jeremy I am so glad! This is the best decision you can make for yourself, your little buddy and -- even though she may not realise it -- for your wife too.

There is a saying that nothing changes if nothing changes. This decision can drive change in your life and help you be everything you have the potential for. Pack the clean clothes and your medication, charge your phone and be ready for Monday. We will be right behind you.

Thatdeliveryguy, I was reading your thread the other day. I am glad you plan to go to rehab. I wish you all the best and hope you prove to be an inspiration to your wife.

i am glad your going to give the rehab a try tdg its a step in the right direction. you have to be cruel to be kind here when it comes to your wife as you know yourself you will never stay sober around someone who is drinking alcoholically, the temptation to drink would always be there right in front of you

so you have to let go of her and focus on you getting sober, i will look forward to your post when you get out of rehab and how things have worked out for you

^^^ This. I know it is difficult but the hardest path is often the only way out of a big mess. Be as open-minded as you can in rehab, no one agrees with everything, but it is not necessary. Heal and be open to the possibilities of a healthy life. I wish you well.
