Hey Brian316, a HUGE congrats on your one-year mile stone. You should be very proud indeed!!!
Today I celebrate one year sober. One year that I haven't felt it necessary to take a drink or mind altering drug. The longest I have ever gone...

Thank you all for your kind words. I feel truly blessed that any part of my story gives hope and inspiration to others. The thing is, when I was down and out, many of YOU gave hope and inspiration to ME! So if there is any way I can give back I hope to be able to. A year is huge for me. At one time a day or a week was huge for me. But, I can never forget. I am just as close as any alcoholic to going back. There's not a cure. There's a daily reprieve. To anyone out there reading this that's still struggling with the drink, my advice is change something. Reach out. There is hope! Thankfully, many people don't have to reach the low bottoms I did to get sober. But, you have to want that change. Thank you everybody!!

Congrats man on 1 year that's a big goal that you reached after all the things you had went through before that. Takes a lot of will power to finally cave in a reach out and not only that but to do it for a year now must feel amazing! That's my goal is 1 year I'm 206 days in I can't imagine what it's like getting to a year but it's a big accomplishment in today's world full of booze and drugs. Keep it up man should be very proud of yourself today!
