Souvenirs For those of you wondering what sort of classy gent has joined your group... Day 24 for me and I was rummaging through my briefcase to find something for work tomorrow. I found the plastic bag I kept in the outside pocket for "E-Z" access in case I had to vomit while I was on the bus. I would actually set aside "good" bags for this illustrious role as opposed to the cheap, thin ones from the supermarket. I wish I was kidding. Luckily, I never had to use them on public transit (you're welcome, Mr. and Ms. America!!), but I recall some near-misses where I had to bolt out of the bus doors like Seabiscuit from the starting gate. I actually considered this "normal"?? |
I developed medically sound routines and strategies to minimise hangovers, what a waste of effort. |
Good to leave that madness behind, isn't it Weatherman? D |
Yeah i dont miss being sick at all well done weatherman |
Yikes! Thank goodness you don't need that anymore! |
I'm constantly finding 'souvenirs' of my own. It's rather jolting. Nothing related to vomit disposal, but definitely some things that say, "Hey buddy! Bet you're glad you quit!" I feel shame every time I find something, but I turn it into a positive and use it as another piece of motivation and a reminder that I've been making the right choices for the past 25 days. |
One more thing off the list to have to worry about!! ;) |
I'm glad you have moved beyond that. |
