Feeling dizzy!

Hi all, I have just woken up really dizzy and very unwell! Pale too! Feel really bad and look awful!

Going to drag myself to work but really not right! I am wondering if it's part of withdrawal?

Anyone else had similar at 21 days?

Oh sorry you're feeling horrible I think our immune systems are run down in withdrawal so we are more likely to pick up bugs. Since I've been trying to quit I've had 3 viruses back to back, just couldn't seem to shake them. Get some echinacea (I like the liquid form) and have it 3 times a day. Unfortunately I didn't have any until I was well into the throes of illness but if you start it straight away it can really help. It boosts your immune system. Hope you are feeling better soon

It's not strictly part of withdrawal, but it is very common for our immune systems to take a little time to get up to speed again buggirl.

take care of yourself

there are a lot of viruses going around in my area, we have had very changeable weather, it is either 40 degrees or 80 degrees. sometimes a sick day is needed. Don't spread the germs to everyone else at your work. If you can afford to take off and rest, take it easy, do it.
if the dizziness persists, it might be an ear infection or problem too, connected to any sinus problems.
hope you feel better!

I had that in the beginning. I started taking one of those probiotics as well as multivitamin, b vitamins and fish oil supplements. I haven't been dizzy and I have the most expensive urine this side of the Mississippi. It might be your bloodsugar levels are off too. Eat some chocolate.

I had to remember that I kept feeding
my body, mind and soul with poison.
Poison, disguised in all those pretty
wrapped bottles didn't care what kind
of damage it was doing to my insides.

Finally when I entered recovery thru
rehab where I stayed for 28days, in
a controlled inviroment where no poison,
alcohol was in reach, it allowed me to
swet it out with daily exercises and time
to learn some important lessons about
addiction and receive many good tools
of a recovery program to help not to
reach for poison when I returned home.

28 days without a drink wasn't even a
drop of water in a bucket so to speak.
All the yrs. and days that I drank, destroying
my insides, muscles, organs, teeth, skin,
heart, everything, would take time to heal
and get healthy again.

I learned about chemical imbalance which
was the result of the damage I did to my
insides. Everything was out of balance and
needed to be repaired. Eating properly,
exercise, oxygen, sun, sleep, seeing my
physician for a full physical and being
completely honest with them about my
addiction and recovery.

If special meds are to be administered
I firmly stressed to my doctor that I
definitely didn't want anything narcotic
or habit forming because my recovery
and remining sober or clean is extremely
important to me. And that I didn't and
don't want anything to interfere with my
recovery.

In time with a recovery program in place
we can begin to heal and become healthy,
happy, in life and all we do. Taking care of
ourselves is that important in achieving long
term sobriety and recovery.
