20 days sober
20 straight sober days. AA meetings/friends are helping me day to day.
Here's some of the things that have helped get me here tonight.
Call my AA sponsor first thing in the morning. Take the day as it comes.
Posting on SR and being active here.
Staying in contact with different AA friends daily. (Text or phone)
Prayer (Very new to this...but I'm trying!)
AA meetings! (Sharing my experiences. Not being a spectator!)
Eating right.
Drinking ALOT of WATER.
Taking vitamins.
Taking campral ( medication to help with alcohol cravings )
Going to work and setting goals for the day. Accomplishing them.
Having fun.
Watching movie marathons. (Friday the 13th)
Playing video games. (Skyrimm)
Feeling emotions (good and bad...not being afraid of them)
Reading the big book.
Starting work on AA STEP FOUR!
Hugging my girlfriend and telling her how important she is to me.
Sleeping regular hours.
Following a routine.
I'm sure there are others I've left off the list...oh! Looking forward to new episodes of the walking dead as a reward for a sober week!
