I am very sorry about the pain and difficulties you are going through right now, Pam. And yet you wrote a powerful message to us including even great practical advice, some of which is also relevant to my own life right now and am dealing with them before too late. Thank you. You are definitely handling this, my friend.
My thoughts are with you and your family.

Dear Pam, I'm also very sorry to hear of your sudden and very sad loss. As said above your sister Debbie was a very special person and is now at peace. It sounds like she also arranged to take her little dog with her when she got there.
Take care,
Aidan

my father passed away a couple of years ago. i felt nothing, im still wondering why. my father liked to play favorites, and i wasnt one of his favorites. but i really thought i would feel something.
Prayers go out to you and those who loved her. I too have been dealing with death and grief.
I found that the number one priority was protecting my sobriety. I went to a lot of AA meetings, reached out and accepted help, gave myself permission to feel like crap and grieve, prayed a lot asking for grace and guidance, lived a day at a time, talked to others with similar experiences.
None of this fixed the pain but I made it through sober and honored my daughters memory.
The days will be tough but with the help of God, friends and family you will make it
