........NIGHTMARE!
That's how I feel today at day 18. Just seen a pic on Facebook of all the locals from ne of my local pubs on holiday in Spain. Looks great, not!
I would have been there with that bunch of strangers who only have one thing in common and that's getting drunk! They all look awful and drunk on the pic!
I am so happy I am out of it! Found the real me again!
Thanks everyone for the continued support!

Hey Buggirl,
Congrats of day 18!!!
When I look at myself in most of the photos of me and my friends, it's rare that I'm not holding a beer. That stuff does get old, and although perhaps it's not always as fun staying clear-headed, I do feel the rewards make it well worth it.
Nice job. You should be proud of yourself.

I think that a good sign Bug. It means you are ready to let it go. That seems like the holdup on quitting to me. It's not like we don't know how to suffer through something. It's letting it go that is hard. My first month I felt like I had entered some alternate reality. The better I got the more I realized that when I was drinking I was stuck in my own head with a lunatic. Now I really am a different person with a different life.
