physical changes at 60 days
Hi, just wondering if anyone can share about this topic.
I'm just at 62 days and have noticed the past week or so that my vision seems ultra-clear...very sharp and colorful.
I didn't notice if my vision was crappy while drinking, so if you have any noticed changes at this time of sobriety, I'd appreciate hearing from you.

Welcome, august!
Well I'm just at day three this time around (sigh) but in the cost:benefit analysis I have written up one of my drinking "costs" was very blurry vision, specially in the morning and especially after days' worth of heavy drinking. Which always got better as the day wore on.
I'm looking forward to more visible health (and looks) improvements.
Good to have you here! And great job on YOUR 62 days!

Hi August....my eye sight had really declined the last few years, so I sure hope that will improve...at 67 days today & haven't really noticed a change with that, but was at the dentist this last week & my blood pressure was 110/76.....a big improvement from the 160+/90 it has been the last 2 years!!
I started my CBA about two years ago and like you, I keep adding to it.
No idea why your vision improved; I hope mine does too though.

Alcohol does effect the vascular and arterial system.
I have never experienced the vision thing, but an improved blood flow through the eye - brain interface would carry more oxygen and stimulate the nerves better.
Sounds like a great unexpected benefit of sobriety
