Have a change in libido in early recovery? I know it's a personal question but mine has plummeted lately and my boyfriend is missing me. I used to have a high drive but I also used to use sex to sooth my hangovers. I'm wondering if it's just me or if it's normal and if it's going to come back... so to speak

It's gonna take time for the body to adjust to not having what it has always had in the form of alcohol, that goes for physically, but also emotionally and mentally, being intimate and everything that goes along with it can include all of those aspects.

It's all going to take time to adjust to how we now approach or being able to approach these situations in Sobriety.

Thanks for replying..... I kinda regret even posting the question... impulse control hasn't always been one of my stronger assets. lol
