Hi, All. I'm MamaBee. Good to meet you.

My story's pretty basic: I don't drink often, but when I do, I drink too much. It's time to just be done with it. I'm ready.

I don't want to do this alone. Temptation is everywhere. Sober support is paramount. Was thrilled to discover this site and join the group. I greatly appreciate all of you and hope I can contribute to your support, as well.

I was a binge drinker too; after the first drink, I was gone. But giving up has been far easier (and much more motivating) than I would ever have expected. Once I realised that it was that first drink which did all the damage, I was on my way to a brand new life.

The wisdom, support and humanity on this site is amazing. I would advise you to read a lot and to post often - and you'll never feel alone in this struggle again :hug:

Welcome. I was a binge drinker too. Your attitude is great and attitude is a huge part of the battle. I'm glad that you made this desicion. There's always support here.
