AV on over drive

But it finally shut up after many hours.
I even went as far as texting someone to meet for a drink, but knew immediately upon sending it that I did not want to drink and hoped she declined. And she did (I had already figured out a "lie" to get out of it had she accepted :/ bad, but not near as bad as drinking and I am no where near ready to be around someone else drinking)
After a very long day at work, I'm now snuggling in with SR and a book, AND I can happily and honestly say "I did not drink today".
thanks guys. You were all with me today

And just think how great you are going to feel in the morning when you wake up, knowing you kicked your AV in the hindquarters. No hangover, none of the negative emotions. Great Job.

Glad you made it through.

Sounds pretty exhausting tho? Have you thought about joining some of the group threads for more support?

The Class of October?
or the 24 hour recovery connections?
Under one year thread?

there's a lot of support there

D
