You're doing great! We've got some smart recovery groups here in UK and I looked into them but the meetings are evening when I'm with my son. I think it's a good idea to get as much support as you can. You can do this!

Way to go, zep. Every hour is an hour closer to feeling better. Keep plugging through, man. You never have to do this again. You've got all the power. Hang in there!

Yes, starting day three after two hours of sleep I'm worn out but actually mowed the yard and did some other chores. Hopefully start sleeping better soon. Thanks for the support.

I slept whenever I could when I was first sober. That wasn't always when it was dark out

Sleep gets better...it takes a while.

Good job mowing the lawn, it looks so nice!

I couldn't sleep the first few days either. I traded my drunken iPhone ritual to a cup of chamomile tea and a book. A real book, not one of these computer books blasting harmful lighting in your eyes. Now I am opposite. I slept 12 hours the past 2 nights. Hang in there, you can do this!

Thanks one and all, just got a full price offer on our house after only being listed a couple days, thank God I'm not drinking, our realtor is coming by in an hour. Kinda shaky to sign papers but guess I'll get through it, better than being a drunk. Good omen!
