Cool Seeking understanding

Not sure if this is an open recovery forum. I was affected by a love one with the disease of drugs and alcohol. I'm just seeking understanding as I was told to learn everything I can on this disease. Thank you

For more information on your topic, go to Forums - the choose Family and Friend of Alcoholics. That forum might be more beneficial to you

Welcome to SR!

*Dee is the person who can help and direct you. She helped me when I first began.

Hi observinglife

despite the the lovely things people have said about me, I'm really just one of the thousands of people who want to help here.

I'm sorry for what brings you to SR, but I know you'll find support and understanding here

I would also seek out open AA meetings in addition to AlAnon or NarAnon. I'm not sure but I think Celebrate Recovery is also for friends and family. Maybe others here have more experience with CR.

It's that big kind heart, and ability to say so much with such few words, that makes 'em think you're a gal Dee ! It's a compliment really!

Welcome observing infinite resources here, glad you joined us !
