Day one
 

Day one! Cannot go on like this! I feel so ill and my husband and kids are sick of me and my drinking. I can't get to many AA meetings which helped before so had given up but I need to find another way. Hope this is it!

Someone's here 24/7/365. Hope we can help.

You got this. Day 2 is easier than day 1 and it slowly gets easier day by day. I liked to think of it as 1% easier each day. I knew that after 100 days and 100% I was seriously on the right track.

Hi Arran, welcome. I was where you are two weeks ago. I had just had enough. Read lots and post often. Everyone is great and supportive here. One day at a time, you can win against alcohol.
