Yeah it absolutely sucked.. I was all over the house, in and out of the bathtub until about 6am when my body finally just shut down and let me sleep for a bit. I still woke up about every 45 minutes but it was much better than rolling around on the couch

Today's been better so far, I have been able to take it easy and clean the house a little bit, but I know tonight will probably see the body twitches slide back in. I have always seemed to get my symptoms more at night

Hopefully completely in the clear come Monday, then it just comes to sticking to a recovery program at that point

My plans for tonight in recovery are to a) work on my 2nd step, really spend some time thinking about my higher power and how I personally define it and b) starting the next chapter of my BB

Congratulations on recognizing that you needed to make a change in your plan this time around and for involving your significant other on your journey. Support is so important. Good luck this time around!

Thanks, this time is it!

I dont ever want to go through any of this again. I am getting too old and have other aspects of my life that are much more important for me.

We will soon see how bad of a night I am in for on night 3-4 of this whole process.

How are things going for you in terms of w/d's?

I am thinking I might actually be alright tonight.. I dont seem super fidgety yet although I have been keeping my mind occupied with games

I've had some fake hangovers which is weird! And cannot sleep. And sleep is precious in our house lol. So tiredness is the worst thing I think I got off lightly this time. Last time when I did 8 days I got the sweats really bad and felt rough. Well done for keeping your mind occupied. I'm finding that reading is helping but I only get chance at night. Currently reading 'drinking a love story'

Yeah. I am fortunate that the boy is with his grandma, it isnt very fair to him when I am detoxing, he is sick with the flu, and we're both just not feeling like dealing with any kind of bull

I got the BB on audio e-book so I am going to listen to that here in a little bit
