Whoa. Today has been bad...Haven't drank. Anxiety...And SOUL crushing sadness...It's REALLY hard to focus at work right now.

Went to my AA meeting and was about to say what happened to me last week...But the words didn't come out. I remained silent. I was almost in tears during the meeting...My heart was beating like crazy.

At the end of the meeting...The young man hosting it said the following (Not directed at me, though it sure seemed like it! )

*If you are here and you are suffering...Please don't leave! Stay here and talk to one of us.*

Sadly i didn't have the strength to say anything today. But i'm glad i went.

I feel disconnected. AA meetings are tough for me.

Work is nearly done. I'm going home to buy dinner for my family. I love them. I hate what my disease put them through last Thursday.

One day at a time here. I'm still praying (Day 2 for that!)
