Alone time
Good day community,
About twelve years ago now, I collaborated with a small group of artists to explore the idea of anonymity, privacy and the like. Our art took the form of a simple yet attractive box that people could stick their head in order to simulate privacy, in the midst of a collection of similar boxes with other people similarly engaged. This performance based conceptual art was fun and somewhat tongue in cheek. Now as I approach some new phase in my approach to addiction. I am reminded of that simple concept and my current fluctuation between a need for the companionship of my loved ones and my desire for privacy and solace.
Respectfully,
Hoondog

Hoondog, your art concept really made me smile. Made me remember how many times I "tried to do it alone..." and how much easier & more enjoyable getting sober is when surrounded by those without their head in a box!
