Hers's hoping

Hi everyone, found his site a few weeks ago. After read many of the posts, I realised, I can quit this alcohol problem. The thing, I keep kidding myself is not a problem. Here in UK, tomorrow is Sober October month for McMillan cancer nurses. As my partners mother died of cancer I've decided to try and stop drinking, before I lose her as well (due to my excessive drinking) I'm under no illusions that it is going to be easy but if I don't try ill never succeed.

I too just found this website I am 2 months sober - it's been hard but also a sense of relief that I made the decision for once and for all!
