NyQuil made me feel like I relapsed?

I don't see that anyone has mentioned it here, but Nyquil also has a ton of acetaminophen in it. So if you took half the bottle, that's nearly the max amount of extra strength tylenol you're supposed to take for the whole day. Not very good for your liver and could be contributing to a crummy feeling.
