Failed on day 9

So annoyed with myself. Was doing great then yesterday on day 9 I was feeling down, stressed, ill and in pain and blew it. Drank a bottle of wine. So now back to day 1 yet again. Still in pain today which isn't helping. Sorry everyone.

I sure know how that feels. The best advice I have for you is to get right back at it. It might be tempting to keep drinking for a few days as you feel so down, but don't do it, get right back into sobriety.

You might be back at day 1, Mavis, but you will have learned a lot from your 9 sober days, including how it felt to be hangover-free and guilt-free! Hang on to that and get right back on it. We're all rooting for you

Not sure how statistically true this is. But I was told that the average child falls 300 times before it successfully walks. Im sure youve tried to or said youd try to clean up that many times, just like me. As long as youve learnt and jump back on right now! Good luck

Hey Mavis, I'm climbing back up on the wagon with you. I tumbled off the back last night with brute force. After a mere 7 days

It's ok Mavis. Resolve to not drink today. Take it one day at a time.

Mavis, pack up what you learned in this relapse and begin again with the knowledge that you can get through this.

Get right back on that horse, Mavis.!!!! You have 9 days and no one can take them away from you!

The path to recovery isn't smooth or straight; I had thousands of Day 1s (practically consecutive) and one Day 4 before it stuck.

Keep fighting.
