I'm.. well, definitely not going to tell you my name, but my situation is.. I got really lucky, in that I got a severe wake up call just in time before it got super bad. I mean I was behaving in a terrible manner to the people about me, and my personality was changing much for the worse. So it was already super bad.

But I got lucky in that for me, quitting was as simple as getting really angry, pouring out my rum, and then never drinking again. It was ludicrously easy. Sometimes ofcourse, I think that maybe I could have another drink and it would be okay, but I know that this was my -one- shot at having it easy. So I've never drank again.

The reason I'm here, is that... Well, basically I need to find out if having the curse can make you generate false memories. Does anybody have any experience with that?

No, I have no false memories of my drinking years.

Welcome. Not for me Devil. I wasn't really one to black out, or in answer to your question, "remember" things that never happened.
That would be scary I'd imagine.

There are plenty of times where I can't remember anything, but I don't have experience with false memories.

being honest with doctor about my drinking really helped

started off trying to make it through the day sober now im here 14 months sober

whatever happens dont drink
