1 week sober
 

So I'm back to 1 week sober. I had 6 months and relapsed, then drank for 3 months and now I'm committing myself to a life of sobriety again.

I got away from meetings, I thought I could drink normally again and I crashed and burned. This will be my 2nd attempt at getting and staying sober.

This forum has bed a good help along with other support systems.

I really needed to accept that a period of abstinence no matter how long does not cure or fix me in anyway, that 1st drink will always have a similar outcome, I couldn't control my drinking the last time and I can't control it now!!
