My thoughts are with you and your family, TDG.

I know where you want to be. You just need the tools to build your "dream place". Rehab has most of those tools.

I've been given the opportunity to receive inpatient care now for free. Or intensive outpatient. My wife is out of the hospital and by all accounts doing ok.

From now , I am going to get on the waiting list for inpatient alcohol treatment. Attend AA daily and instead of just being medication compliant, I am going to be compliant with all the mental hospital requirements. Counseling, medication, service coordinator, and absolutely no alcohol.

I wish I could share more here, it wouldn't be prudent at this time to do so, so with that I can say its not as bad as it sounds. I will say, and all I can say is that I am not the reason this happened and it was a totality of life circumstance that lead to my daughters removal ( primarily medication for me) and or I ( only me) would still have custody.

I am not going to minimize my involvement in this either. For now though, its focusing on getting help, getting work, and stay positive. In many ways this opens up a huge world of resources for me I will be taking.
