Today is Day 4

And I have no plans of drinking! I am still battling a cold, but have been hanging out on SR and journalling each day to keep me on track. It will be a while before I hit new ground, as my record this year was 27 days. But I am grateful for each and every day sober! So day 4 (again) I welcome you with open arms!

Keep it rolling, Kristen. Great job!
I recall feeling significantly better during those days as my body detoxed. I hope you do as well.

Congratulations! I am on day 5! Got my plAn for the weekend, books, films with the kids, trip to my mum's and lots of cooking. No intention of touching a drop. I have even stopped going to my local shop as that is where I buy wine, I walk a bit further if I need anything, even though they still stock wine it is much easier to resist as I don't associate it with booze.

Keep it up, we can do it together! Xx

I have plenty of reasons NOT to drink. The the whole thing is learning to cope with my AV and my triggers. My motivation level is pretty high right now, and I am journalling and planning as much as possible. I also have my best friends's support so I have that going for me. I know there will be days that won't be easy, but that's when I can reach out to my best friend or the wonderful people here on SR for support. I also have a therapist and will talk to her about this as soon as I see her in a couple of weeks.

Wow are you me? I am on day 4, and have a cold! I think I got it after my relapse on Sunday. One of my kids has a cold, so I am pretty sure I got it from her since my immune system was down after that day of drinking.

I am only taking vitamin c lozenges no cold medicine because of the tylenol component. I figure my liver needs a break.

Day four is awesome. You can do this.

I am on day three. I feel pretty good. Green smoothies seem to help the stomach aches. spinach, vanilla greek yogurt, banana, ice, water. I hope you have a great day.

One foot forward each day is the way we make it anywhere we want to be.

Keep moving forward! You have a great plan and some pretty great momentum going for you!
