BeBetter, welcome to you! So glad you have joined us.

When you get sick and tired of being sick and tired, it is time to quit. For me, now on Day 9 of being sober, the rewards are immeasurable. I know how it feels to wake up in the morning hating yourself for what you did the night before. I never want to feel that depressed, ashamed, guilty, sad, defeated ever again.

This is a slow process and it truly is one day at a time. So take it slow and you can do it, just like the rest of us here.

Make sure to post and read others' posts and comment as well. We stay sober together.

Hugs to you!

hi walkinganewpath - Each day will get better and better for us. No more snapping at family members because we feel like crap. I was happy to enjoy a cup of coffee this morning without feeling nauseous after.

BeBetter - I can't tell you the number of mornings I couldn't even smell coffee or I would be sick.

Cecilia - I agree with being sick and tired of being sick and tired!!!

Have a great rest of your day - I'll be back later
