I'm a little late, too, but I would also like to welcome you. I can relate to being introduced to recovery and not "getting it" for many years. The good thing is that we finally did get it. Just take one day at a time. Keep up the good work.

Hey hereandnow - welcome! I have been sober for 11 months and have not felt this good in about ten years. We are all connected via our addictions and am pulling for you.
I guess the reason I come to this site is to feel the support myself and to at least lend some in return.
I know this is a tough time for you, but every day is a new day, isn't it? I mean, who says that we can't start over and be even better than before? I see it as a challenge; one that I know WE can win.
