Thinking about taking up gaming as a new hobby-Any suggestions

I was thinking- I used to have hobbies and stuff before I started using drugs, but ever since its been school and drugs and that's it. Video games seem like a fun thing to do instead of using. Does anyone know any good games? I like the more strategic types of games.

Thanks

Depends what console you've got.....for me any of the final fantasy games on any console are a good way to loose some hours.....If you really want a time sink then get one of those online games....World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy XIV.....they'll keep you busy for a long time.

Maybe get online with Call of Duty and shoot some Nazi's or whatever it they all do on that game

I was a keen video gamer as well until I began drinking far too much....I seemed to stop doing everything I enjoyed when drinking, even the things that should have been easy to do.

I used to be into it (Xbox and then 360). The Battlefield series is top notch if you want to play online. CoD got old after a while but Battlefield stays awesome For single player, the Bioshock games are nearly perfect.

A GREAT idea, and one I have (re)taken up. working smashingly well!

I'm a huge Fallout3/Fallout New Vegas fan, but lately, I have fallen in love with Skyrim- DEEP, deep story, and a seemingly unending amount of things to do. One could easily put 300-400 hours into this game.

I find video games a good distraction when having those cravings. I'm not a hard core gamer, though-- mostly I play iPad games like Ticket to Ride or Doctor Who Legacy. My daughter-- who's the big video gamer in the house-- is currently into Destiny and Persona 4.
