Screwed up..

...that's all I'm going to say about it.

Made it 40 days. But it was one night. I didn't enjoy it. I honestly could have just been having water...which is what I should I have ordered.

Anyways, I'm just moving forward. I have a few nice things planned this weekend and supposed to be beautiful weather.

Hope everyone is well!!

Lola - be gentle with yourself; slips are so very common. Those 40 days still belong to you and you only truly fail when you give up.

Maybe think about if your program needs some tweaking.

Glad you posted. Have a great weekend; weather is nice here in my neck of the East Coast, also.

Lola, 40 days is amazing. I am on Day 6 here.

Don't be too hard on yourself. Just keep moving forward.

Lola, I like that you realize water would have worked just fine and that you don't feel as good about yourself this morning because you weren't true to yourself.

Did your friend encourage you to drink? At what point in the process could things have gone the other direction? You talked about it beforehand in posts. "Water and food."

If going out is going to be insurmountable, maybe going out has to be on hold for a while?

Hi Lola.

You didn't enjoy it - so maybe it served as a valuable lesson. There's nothing in it for us anymore.

When I slipped up I was off SR and drinking again for over 2 months. Well done for coming straight back on and recommitting to sobriety-I wish I'd done the same! Xx

I did the same thing flossy. Yes, slip ups happen and the key is to not give up. Well done Lola.

well... it definitely happens.

The good news is that the very next day, you're realizing that it wasn't worth it.

Sometimes, it can take years.....

Learn, grow, evolve, ONWARD!!!
