Day 5 and feeling disconsolate
 

Urgh. I've woken up this morning on the wrong side 😔

We've a family meal this weekend and I know I can face it without drinking but it's with my inlaws and a glass used to take the edge off it a bit. I'm not going to drink and I will take the car but I feel a little lower today.

I hope once I get trough the first weekend it will get easier.

Anyway, I hope everybody has a good, AF day.

Could have been a much worse side that you woke up on ;). On day 4 myself since an extensive relapse. Last time though, I remember the first week was the most difficult. Second week was a little better and it just keeps getting better. But not always easier. Stay strong!

You might find that you can tolerate the edge anyway Flessia?
it will certainly get better the more times you do things sober, I think :)

Thank you-I feel better now I'm at work and my minds on task, as it were! I never drank in the morning but that's often when it hits me most?!? Strange! Xx
