The phenomenon of sobriety

The latest that I've realized.

Typically, in order to see something for what it is you must move towards it. Sobriety is the first situation I've encountered in life where distance was the only thing that provided me with true clarity.

Though us addicts like a quick fix so it's quite a difficult task for most!! :)

The longer I'm sober the drunker I was.

Until I had something to compare it to I just couldn't see what a wreck my life had become.
