I've never been a morning or day drinker so all day was actually easy. I didn't think about it at all. But I can literally "feel" when it's five o'clock because that's when I've always began drinking in the past (then would proceed to get smashed until I pass out). So naturally five o'clock arrives yesterday and I get home and the freakin cravings start. I drank some iced water and waited. I was antsy and feeling sorry for myself for prob a half hour. Then I got mad (at the whole situation of never again getting to indulge in the thing I have enjoyed most) so I sat on the floor with my arms around my knees and just squeezed myself as hard as I could for prob like 2 minutes. My huz had grilled some food and dinner was ready. I sat down, ate a big meal and it was essentially over with. It did cross my mind several more times before bed but nothing like the stupid five o'clock one.

I have the same 5 o'clock thing! It just rocks your world and like you said, you can actually "feel" that craving. It is almost like sticking a paper clip into an electrical outlet when the craving peaks!
