Day 3-done! It through my third day with a couple of little wobbles but no alcohol! Relearning my triggers from last time and one of them is when I'm leaving work-usually I'd ask my OH if he wanted anything from our local shop on my way home and if he'd say yes I had "permission" to buy wine for me. I nearly asked tonight (purely habit!) but didn't! So so hungry though and I keep eating sweet things! Hope everybody is well xx |
Well done! You are allowed as many treats as you want in early sobriety! |
Keep it up. It'll get easier as time goes on. |
It's all about tweaking the habits!! Great job!! After work I too got a drop in blood sugar, loosing all that sugar in alcohol caused a bit of a crash, i found something sugary late afternoon/early evening to make all the difference, others have mentioned before about a milkshake or ice cream, I go for a large mug of sweet/sugary tea, picks me right up!! :) Day 3 is fantastic!! Keep it going!! :You_Rock_ |
Awesome job keep it up. Now you need to celebrate I say splurge on some fast food. Or if your into health food reward yourself with a grand salad or something. Keep up the good work. |
You're doing great flossy. :) Love your positive attitude. |
Thank you all-I just ate more cake and now I feel ill! Ha better than a hangover though! Your support is so so valuable to me right now too. Xx |
Awesome! I feel the same way. Almost gotten by a trigger! Going to eat and going to bed early!! Good work! |
