Wanted to drink today but didn't

I'm tired, feeling down, lonely and overwhelmed at work. My AV suggested just a small bottle on the way home. I didn't do it because I decided today I won't. Sigh. So I've finished dinner and about to watch a little of the football game with my yummy iced tea before heading to bed early.

I'm going to wake up happy that I accomplished 14 days sober and will be beginning day 15.

Very good. ..that's the only way to do it. Making the right choice day after day regardless of the ups and downs. Soon it won't be so hard. Congratulations on 2 weeks.

I'm working on two months and I can promise you the grass IS greener on the other side! Do whatever you have to do to make it...just don't pick up! You won't regret it. It feels so good at two months. You can do this!!

I feel you, Sinderos, I've felt like I'm in some kind of purgatory these days. Very tired, listless. Surprised I'm even getting workouts done, though they help. Right now I'm drowning my sorrows in a bottle of diet pepsi and almonds. I hope you feel better. Smiles
