Hey all, hope you are all well... I had a bit of a weird experience today, I mentioned a little while back that I found a few half empty bottles of Vodka in the garage while I was having a tidy up.. Well today I decided to clean my office, I'm not the tidiest worker I will add.. Anyway under my desk, surprise surprise I found an unopened bottle!!! WTF!!! How did I miss this?? I'm happy to say my AV kept quiet & I threw it in the rubbish sack I was filling up but for some reason I felt very uneasy about it being in the room, I didn't want to drink it or anything. It felt like there was a presence with me, it was the most uncomfortable feeling, quite spooky actually.. I can still feel it now as I type even though I took it out, poured it away & through the bottle in the recycling... Given me the heebie jeebies!!! The thing is I don't quite understand why as I have other alcohol in the house which does not bother me at all.. I don't know quite what I'm asking but just thought I would share this experience..

I would have compare it to the feeling that people get when they lost a leg or an arm. They swear they can still feel it like it was still there. You cut off alcohol from your life but you still feel its presence.

Maybe you were feeling the old guilt, etc. about that one because you had hidden it. Creepy. Good you tossed it.

I had an experience that I described as thinking the killer is dead and that he pops up out at you from your bedroom closet. It's unnerving but your reaction says it all.

You sound like me, tidying up and finding all of the bottles. Did you use to drink while you worked in your office? I recently threw out several bottles from my office because I couldn't sleep at night, knowing they were there. Same thing with bottles under my bed. They gave me the hibby jibbies when I found them.
