Sure!!! We had a cool front come through and tonight my husband and I are going to a retirement party for someone at the firehouse. Sure, it will be hard because there is liquor and free beer.
My husband has been on vacation from the firehouse for like 40 days but Saturday I'm going to take a break and go to a meeting and maybe an outside campfire after that. Then Sunday we invited his mother over and maybe it will warm up enough to do some swimming. I hope so.
That's my plans.

Hey people!! Surely there are some fun things going on out there. I personally am going to enjoy a quiet, yet productive, weekend at home with my daughter. We are cleaning house, doing laundry, etc. Sunday afternoon I do my fifth step.

I am getting my first puppy today. I am picking him up at the SPCA in about 2 hours. So I am going to spend my weekend with him. Any ideas for a name? I want something aa related but it has to be clever so that my boyfriend doesn't know the reason. LOL A friend suggested Challenger, Serenity. Serenity would not fit a 50Lb Black Lab Mix.

Hey Jen--Let's see. A good AA puppy name. How about Hugo Prince. You could call him Prince for short, and HP would be his initials. I don't know. That's kinda :lame: I'll see what else I could think of.
Maybe Iggie. Short for Sister Ignatia, one of the original members of AA.

Ah yes, the weekend. It is going to be a scorcher. I'm getting ready to take my daughter shopping, pick her up some new summer clothes. She is spending the weekend with her Father. It will be fun for her. It's her Grandma and Grampa's 50 wedding anniversary. She'll get to spend time with cousins and her granparents she doesn't get the opportunity to see very often.
I'll be sitting surrounded by a nice green grassy area, with a creek a few feet away, working on my fifth step as well. Trish is working on her fifth step this weekend too. Good luck to all of us. Everyone have a great sober weekend.

You could always name it something that reminds you of why you stay sober. Maybe Killer!
As you can see, I'm not to good at this, my hubby named our black lab and our kids!
