Making myself check in daily....

For my own good health I have to make myself check in each day with SR to make myself accountable .... and here I am .... a Saturday morning hangover free .. but with my day mainly to myself .... so i have to be aware of the AV who so likes to pay a role in my life !!!

Happy Saturday or Friday night to wherever you all are .... and thankyou for being there :thanks

Well done on the no hangover Julie - isn't it wonderful to be free? :)

Yes it certainly is Hevyn ... and even more so the lack of remorse and guilt ....

Me too

Way to check in... I have to check in myself daily. Today is day two for me which is for me a little tougher for me as yesterday I was desperate to be sober and today feeling a bit better. .. leaving church I have the AV voice in my head saying today would be a good day for a drink.
Not going to do it and kinda mad I thought about it for a second ... but I have to accept it's going to be this way as I grow throughout my recovery. . So ill just be strong hold on and got to my mtg tonight because I deserve to be sober and free... thanks for listening family...

julie
i did the same thing. i came here every day and read the forum, i would respond to them and even post a new one. in some ways it gave me something to look foward too each day of soberity.

a good idea
I check in here a few times a day
helps to remind me of how it was when I was drinking
and how it is now that I'm sober -- life is so much better
