Today makes 12 days sober. Emotions are all over the place YET again.

Still not carrying any money/debit/credit cards on me...Wish i had done this before, it would have saved me a few weeks of heartache.

My GF and i had an awesome sober weekend...Which was followed by tears last night...She said *Please don't drink again...I love this version of you...When you drink you're someone else...You're doing so good...But i'm SCARED."

My GF is my best friend on this earth...I am NOT going to lose her to alcohol.

My FAMILY is the most important thing on this earth. I am NOT going to lose them to alcohol.

I AM IMPORTANT to myself and others...I am NOT going to lose MYSELF to alcohol.

12 days sober. Alcohol go back to the dark shadow where you belong...I won't be joining you ever again.

It's much brighter on this side.

it sounds like you have a great support system in your GF and family!! That definitely helps. While we can't quit FOR them, having them in our corner and being supportive can sure make a hell of a difference.
