The best thing about sobriety

No physical and mental pain the next day. Remembering everything I did. Not being a jackass or getting hurt. No empty calories. Being my sober self, always present, saving money, looking great in Saturday morning, never being hungover at work, being more productive... List goes on. Thanks for this post! Makes me fall in love with my sobriety again!

Being able to experience joy. Real joy and happiness excitement as I feel the spiritual change happening. Being able to cry over pain, fueled by nothing more than the real situation. Not hiding behind a hangover pretending that everything is ok. Not focusing all of my energy into just trying to get through the day. I am amazed by how whole I feel.
