My blood is 100% Scottish my accent is 100% English (London)

I consider myself Scottish (my cousins see me as the enemy lol) my English friends consider me Scottish

Someone should start sober things to do in London

And all the other cities could do similar things !!

Sunny south west London! There's lots of "us" in this part of the world. Glad to see you FTF and that you are doing good!

Hi Jason. I'm from sunny Dorset via South London/Surrey. I have an English accent but am half-Welsh and very proud of it!

I love Dorset. I go to Swanage often.

I live in Hampstead (posh), but from Watford (not posh).

I am very pleased you jumped straight back on the bus. You can do this!

I am good, up and down days.

AA is helping me a lot. I need meetings for acountability due to my remaining friends not being close and live alone, so getting to a daily meeting is keeping me on the straight and narrow.

Sorry to go off topic Jason, just saying hello to a fellow Londoner!

Jase, I have seen a really good link on here to a site describing an AA meeting in detail.

Just need one of the Admin guys to jump on and point you in the right direction.

It's just people talking about their experiences with alcohol and how they overcame it in the meetings I go to. Plus lots of coffee and people who get what it's like. I have met some great people. 1 hour - 1.5 hrs

Edit : got it, http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...-about-aa.html

You need to remind me how many days I'd be on so that I never cave again. Well done Sth, you are doing a great job! x

Never met a Welshman who wasn't proud! Partner of 13 years is Welsh. Has English accent also. I tease him about it actually.
