The creepy-crawlies

You know what they are. That feeling that somethings on you. When we're re-adjusting, they come often. Like the little peripheral vision hallucinations you learn to ignore.

Today, while doing my charity pitch at the golf tournament, I had a BAD case of the CC's. Left leg, almost to the point of making me stop the pitch. When I finished, and the group left, I looked down and that bleedin' caterpillar was up to my knee.

I didn't scream like a little girl.

When I went cold turkey at its worst (aside from the vomiting) It really felt like the width and length of my bedroom was shifting slowly

As for during sobriety I haven't had anything like that

But if I see a mouse I scream a lot louder than a lil girl im off running arms flailing looking for high ground

I have a massive phobia of mice and rats

I didn't see any bugs when first sober but I felt like I was being attacked by mosquitos at night. Worms, maggots and larvae make me squirm! Even spaghetti.
I hope you put the little guy in a tree.

Coming down from crack feels the same without the fuzzy little creature.

I can do some really mad dance moves after walking into a spider web. Not much creeps me out, but spider webs do.

Snakes do the trick to freak me out.

One time one really caught me by surprise. I lost it and went in full blown medieval mode with a shovel. I cut it in 20 little pieces but the head part kept going and got away. Yikes!

Thankfully poisonous snakes and spiders are not something that live where I come from!!

It's when I travel that I need to block them out of my mind!!

No thanks. We were stationed all over the place and one place we lived, there were scorpions EVERYWHERE. I'd find them in the bath towels. Ugh. Shuddering just thinking about it. I didn't care if they were outside, but having them hiding in clothing and towels was not fun at all. So glad we were only there for 22 months.

I'm absolutely terrified of bees.

I too have the constant mosquito bite feeling while detoxing. It's very scary to me.

I experienced stuff like this only during detox. I didn't realize it could occur later on.
