1 week sober.
So today makes 1 week sober. Thank GOD for this...the week prior to this week was Hellish on SO many levels. I never want to repeat that. And i never will!
I couldn't have started my trek back without support. Thanks to all on SR for their understanding and words of encouragement.
I heard one thing during my AA meeting yesterday that really resonated with me
: "Do the next right thing"
That seems so easy...But it is SO easy to forget. I'm not forgetting. EVER
I wish you all a safe and sober day my friends.

"Next right thing" is one of my favorites. There is a lot of wisdom in AA rooms.
Congrats on the first week down. You are right, you won't have to do that again! It keeps getting better - makes it so worth the effort.
