One Year Sober

I am one year sober today and it feels amazing! My life has changed so much in the past year. I have been looking forward to this day for months but the truth is that it is just like any other day for me. The real gift isn’t about today it’s about every day that I have lived fully since I began this journey last summer. I feel good, I feel happy, and I feel blessed. I am so grateful to have made this change in my life now rather than continuing the dance with my addiction. Now I dance with life!

Thank you for all of the love and support you fine people have shown me every day here on SR.

My thoughts and prayers are with any of you who are struggling today. Just breathe, you can do this.
