I've been drinking mint herbal tea with cheese. Not so bad!

This made me think of my visit to Morocco. It was such a wonderful experience to go to a restaurant and alcohol not even be an option!

well well. all that planning for nothing.

I had a fantastic evening in a cute little bar with what was definitely the most amazing cheese and sausage platter I've seen since I've arrived here. Alas, they only had orange and tomato juice, neither of which seemed like a great combo with cheese, so I opted for a large bottle of sparkling water.

the quest continues.

I'm late on this, but I bet you'll have another cheese plate in your sober lifetime I love cheese and fruit. Some sweet grapes, figs, apples, pears.. some are paired better than others. I love grapes and apples with cheddar, pears with gorgonzola, figs with a good creamy cheese like brie, etc enjoy!

+1 to this. My love for cheese is rather huge, especially soft creamy french cheeses...

I can easily eat it on it's own but if I'm feeling like something alongside then salami, pickled onion, anything pickled really.

And to drink my fav ginger ale!

I'm going to eat some cheese now!

Apple is the classic cheese accompaniment but I find slices of apple go better than apple juice. Pear juice works if you can find it and grape juice goes nicely too. I usually end up having water but having slices of fruit or pickles to cut through the cheese...
